Touch of Nature in Toile

Hi Everyone! I needed to get some sympathy cards done this week. I decided to pull out my Stampin Up Touch of Nature stamp set. You can see my colors are strictly Very Vanilla and Basic Black. I did alot of masking with it, but I really like how it came out.

Emboss Resist Touch of Nature Card

Hi Everyone! It's Friday, and I for one, am soooooooooo glad. I had a rough day today, didn't feel very good for most of it, but hopefully I'll feel super good tomorrow! (fingers crossed) lol

I thought I'd play around with some embossing powder today & decided I would do the emboss resist techie. I am a sucker for Stampin Up's Pale Plum and Perfect Plum. I used white embossing powder. Inks are Perfect Plum, Perfect Plum and White inks.

Natural Beauty & Lovely as a Tree Card

Hi there! Here I am again using another retired stamp. I'm so sorry, but I really love this set, it's an oldie, but a goodie!!! All products are Stampin Up, with the exception of the "with sympathy" stamp, that I got at Micahels 1.50 bin. I started out with Handsome Hunter for my card base, and stamped the Weathered background in the same HH color. The next layer is Creamy Caramel, followed with a layer of Very Vanilla, which I added an antiqued silver brad in each corner. I stamped the retired background stamp, Fine Lace, and also the ferns, in Handsome Hunter. Then, I added a large oval in Close to Cocoa. I then made a little smaller oval and stamped Lovely as a Tree in Close to Cocoa, I stamped my sentiments in Chocolate Chip.

Next, I watercolored the bird and branch, as well as the butterfly with my Aqua Brush and Watercolor Crayons. I love using them!! Andddddddd wa-laaaaaaaaa!!! A finished card!!

Touch of Nature

Hi again, I found this in my tiny stack of cards to scan and post, so I thought I would get at it and share this with you. I know this set is retired, but it was and probably always be one of my favorites. This one, and Lovely as a Tree, both by Stampin Up, are so versatile as far as I'm concerned! I love them both, haha, who am I trying to kid? I love it ALLLLL! If it's a stamp, I probably WANT IT!!! hehe
Ofcourse the difference between WANT and NEED is once again found, in the wallet!! lol

Oops, I digressed big time...here we go! I used Chocolate Chip and Cool Carribian as my main color choices here, and I think it worked well. The DSP is retired (I have got so many I need to use up, and I will, slowly but sureley. That brings me to another topic...I wanted to ask you...do you find that when SU has a retired DSP sale, you stock up?
You put them gently away and vow to use them real soon. Then the new catty comes out with such beautiful, lucious, have to have papers and guess what!!! Gotta have it! And so the DSP stack grows with the retiree's at the bottom. LOL Oh well, I don't care, it won't get rotten and spoil, that's for sure. It will sit there, quiet as a mouse and wait until I stumble upon it again and surprise you all by using it. hehe

Touch of Nature Sage Shadow

Hi there Everyone! Today I'm posting a card I did with Stampin Up's newly retired,
Touch of Nature stamp set. I just love this set and probably always will. This is a standard A-2 card, using all Stampin Up products. Here's the details:

Stamp Set: Stampin Up Touch of Nature, recently retired
Card Stock: Sage Shadow, Whisper White and So Saffron
Inks: Mellow Moss, Versamark, Sage Shadow
Embossing Powder: White
Ribbon: So Saffron 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
Sponge for sponging!

Groovy Guava Touch of Nature

Hi All, here I am again, and as you can see, I went back to my favorite stamp set. All the cards You've seen, have used Stampin UP products, because I just don't have anything else! lol But, I soon will and I'll be giving you some other images to feast your eyes upon. lol Today I used Groovy Guava for this Touch of Nature card.
