Hi again!!! I'm back today with a very "rough" diagram of folding
directions for the Stair Step card. I had so many people ask for
the measurements that I thought I'd put it on here for you.
Now...remember...I said "rough"!!!! It sure is!!! I sat down with
my handy dandy ruler and it looked so pretty...but then I scanned it
and ohhhhhhhhh how rough and ugly it looks!!! I aplogize that it doesn't
look very professional, but you can see it and that's the main thing!!! hehe
I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, just send me a comment
or email and I'll help. :)
Here's the "rough" diagram:
Measurements are as follows
1 piece of 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" cardstock
Marks in diagram are:
On the 5 1/2" side score at 2" to 2 1/4"
solid fold line at 2 1/4" thru 7 1/4"
Happy stair-stepping!!! :)
on the 8 1/2" side score at 2 1/4", 4 1/4", 5 1/2", 6 1/2",and 7 1/4"
Clear as mud??? If so...just holler & I'll help you :)

Vintage Vogue in Razzleberry
Hi there Stampers!!! Did ya miss me???!!! I told you I'd be back, I just wasn't quite sure when, but here I am. I think I'm back for good this time, atleast I'm hoping I will be!!
As you can see I have been working with Stampin Up's new Vintage Vogue. I don't have the set as yet, but a friend let me borrow it and I love it!!! There's something about this set...the softness of it, I think, that draws me in! I really love and enjoy this beautiful set.
I chose to to try something different that I've seen others making. It was easy and fun to do, it's call the Stair-step card. For some reason, I really thought this would be quite a challenge for me so I really put it off. I'm kind of embarrassed that I put it off so long, because it was quite easy to make and I definitely will be making more. The thing that I like about this card, is that the recipient is able to set this on a shelf or mantel and they don't have to "open" it to see the full card. It's really an attention getter. Everytime they look at the card, they'll think of you, the cardmaker and it will bring a smile to their face, I'm sure!
The recipe for the card is as follows:
Stamp set: Vintage Vogue
Cardstock: Pale Plum, Razzleberry & Whisper White
Inks: Pale Plum, Razzleberry, Old Olive and
Whisper White, Razzleberry Marker and White Gel pen
Misc:Amethyst gem brad, Dazzling Diamonds and
5/8th inch Old Olive Satin Ribbon
Thank you so much for stopping by and please be sure to send me some luv and leave a comment! I love hearing from everyone and you're all over the world! Amazing!! Let me know what you think of my cards! :)
Take care and happy stamping,
